About Miranda

Cartoon Enthusiast
Animal Lover
YARN Nerd
Snack Junkie
Antique Collector

Originally raised in the Pennsylvania Laurel Highlands (ancestral lands of the Shawnee and Ohio Valley tribes), Miranda completed their degree at Purdue University before moving to San Francisco Bay Area in California (unceded territory of the Ramaytush Ohlone). Since arriving on the West Coast, she has served as a Stage Management Fellow and Conservatory Production & Stage Management Coordinator at American Conservatory Theater, had the opportunity to work on LORT and Pre-Broadway productions, as well as worked in different capacities for several types of live events. In the last few years, Miranda has been able to work with several Fortune 500 companies on their internal and external events via Encore.

"Thirty, flirty, and thriving," Miranda isn't shy about showing her calm demeanor and relaxed approach to life. She resides with her partner, Mark, and their cats, Robin and Ronnie. Formerly Miranda has volunteered as a re-enactor and tour guide at a 1799 Stage Coach Museum and is currently serving on the non-profit board for a Victorian home built in 1884. Miranda has been a state-level 1600m relay runner, represented the 5,000+ undergrad students in the College of Liberal Arts as a Purdue Student Government Senator, served as a CASA (Court Appointed Special advocate) for Bay area foster youth, and been a lecturer for Stage Management students at the San Francisco State University School of Theatre & Dance. Miranda enjoys collecting mechanical typewriters and antique cameras, sketching and writing, baking with friends, and spending time making things from inside their pile of yarn.
